Take the Betelberg gondola from Lenk and set off on the Gryden high-altitude trail. This 7.5 km hike leads you through one of Switzerland's most extraordinary landscapes. Hidden on Betelberg, you’ll encounter crater-like rock formations, wide panoramas, and peaceful alpine nature. The route starts at the Leiterli mountain station and is suitable for hikers with varying levels of experience.
At the start, you'll look out over the Hasler Hochmoor, a protected alpine wetland with a tranquil atmosphere. From there, follow the path towards Stübleni and reach the distinctive Gryden landscape. The crater-like shapes make the hike diverse and memorable.
The highest point lies at 2,109 m above sea level, offering a vast view of the Saanenland. Here, you can take a break and enjoy the scenery of the surrounding mountains. The circular trail then leads back to the Leiterli mountain station. From there, you can comfortably ride the gondola back down to the valley.
