From Mulhouse, the second-largest city in Alsace, the route runs through the Rhine Valley into Germany and to the “Zähringerstadt” of Neuenburg a.R. Bad Bellingen follows directly along the Rhine. The path then winds through attractive small valleys to Kandern at the foot of the Black Forest. Through gentle hilly landscape, you reach Rümmingen, and you soon arrive in Lörrach.
