The Sörenberg ski area is scenically very beautiful. Official snowshoe trails and winter hiking routes start among others at Sörenberg Platz, Rossweid, Hirsegg, and the valley station Brienzer Rothorn.
The paths lead through forests, raised bogs, and open alpine terrain with views of Schrattenfluh, Brienzer Rothorn, and the Bernese Alps.
