The newest addition to the art scene, Kunsthaus Sursee is a bit of an oddity. It's situated not in the city centre of Sursee but in the forest. It is underground and has no lighting. On dark days and at night, the temporary exhibition is difficult to see, even with the flashlight of a mobile phone.
The works of art on display can only be viewed kneeling through a grid. Neither the exhibits nor visitors are protected from rain. The art is displayed in a creepy large concrete shaft that you definitely don't want to fall into. Far below, the shaft is full of water. Nobody knows how deep the water is. The three terrifying spaces with their different idiosyncratic noises now comprise our newest art installation.
