Feed the ducks on the shores of Lake Thun or read and rest on a bench in the sun. Or take a walk along the paths leading through the woods, along the avenue and across the meadows that are so inviting to sunbathers in the summer (although there is no direct access to the water).
Schadau Park also has something special for young visitors – children have to find the right way through a maze to get to the amazing playground. A miniature steam train crosses the park every second weekend. There is a restaurant in Schadau Castle where tasty treats are served. And if you are not hungry, enjoy a grappa or a coffee as you admire the panoramic view. History fans will appreciate the Thun city panorama painted back in the 19th century.
