The cable car takes you and your bike together with the guide from Zermatt over the Sunnegga to Blauherd.

From there, you'll take the scenic ride together in a small group around the five mountain lakes Stellisee, Grindjisee, Grünsee, Moosjisee and Leisee. In three of them the Matterhorn is reflected in the still water. You take the way down by bike. On the way, you will also get a tip or two from the bike guide.

The demands on condition and technique are "medium":

• The route is smoothly rideable with technical sections.
• Roots, water deflectors, stones, tighter curves should not be a problem for you.
• The ground is mostly well paved.
• There are steep uphill and downhill sections.

After the bike trail you might come back to Zermatt very hungry. Not far from the train station you will find the restaurant Rosstal, which opens daily at 4 pm. On two floors there is room for 50 guests to enjoy specialties from the alpine region. The particularly rustic ambience is sure to make you stay a little longer.
