You meet the pilot at the agreed meeting point in Zermatt and ride up with him on the mountain railroad. Depending on the weather and wind conditions, the exact launch site will be chosen at the meeting. Usually this is above 2000 m above sea level, for longer flights at about 3000 m above sea level.
Good, sturdy shoes are a must. UV sunglasses and weather appropriate clothing are also important. You will get an introduction directly from the pilot before you start. During the paragliding flight you will enjoy the view of the 4000-meter-high mountains with the Matterhorn as the most prominent peak.
