Freeriding refers to skiing off-piste through untouched terrain. It is one of the most fun ways to discover the beautiful snow-covered landscape of the Zermatt mountain region. During this experience, you will ski all day with a certified mountain guide through the white snowfields beside the pistes.
You meet your mountain guide at 08:30 at the Klein Matterhorn cable car station. Then, you will ride the cable car up into the ski area. Once at the top, the ski adventure really begins. Together, you will ski beside the pistes, depending on snow conditions and the participants’ skill level, through untouched powder snow. This includes exciting glacier descents and couloirs.
At lunchtime, you will take a one-hour break at one of the mountain restaurants. In the afternoon, you will return to the fresh snow. The activity concludes around 16:00 back at the ski area.
