The Allalin area in Saas-Fee is a place of superlatives – one of the longest ski runs in the Alps leads directly into the village from the world’s highest revolving restaurant at 3,500m. The ski area is suitable for pleasure skiers and connoisseurs alike.
In Saas-Fee, the glaciers are not only close enough to touch but the upper part of this ski area is actually located on the glacier surface. For a varied descent into the valley you have a choice of two versions. The route via Längfluh is technically demanding, while the descent via Morenia presents seasoned skiers with some exciting challenges including the Gletscherschuss (glacier shot) and the Alte Kanonenrohr (old gun barrel). Less experienced operators can avoid these sections by following the routes marked in blue.
