The cable car operates from Sörenberg in both summer and winter. It runs continuously every day during operating hours. The aerial tramway can carry 80 people and takes less than 10 minutes from Sörenberg to the Rothorn.
The panoramic glazing in the red cabins extends from floor to ceiling. You have a view of the surrounding mountain world with the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau and up to 690 other peaks.

The operating times are every year from the end of May to the beginning of November and from mid-December to the end of March. During operating times, the cable car runs at intervals of around 20 minutes.

- Dogs up to 30 cm at the withers in animal-friendly containers travel free of charge
- Paid parking spaces are available at the valley station
