Surfski taster course

In this taster course, you will experience what it's like to paddle across Lake Thun on a surf ski. Beforehand, you will receive some brief instructions and learn how to adjust the steering correctly.

There is then no guide on Lake Thun and you can enjoy the little excursion on your own. The taster course from Thun takes about an hour in total.

What is a surfski?

A surfski is between 4.5 and 6.5 m long and looks very elegant and sporty. It is also very light (about 8 kg in the carbon version). Surf skis are very safe as they are unsinkable. This is achieved by the closed hull.

You steer the surfski using two pedals with your feet and a rudder under the stern. The drive is provided by a wing paddle. The surfski is fast and can be used in (almost) any weather.
