Reopening of the Cantonal Museum of Fine Arts

In the future museum, a space devoted to cultural mediation will be directly accessible from the lobby – a place for creating, reading and sharing impressions of visits.
In fact, mediation activities will permeate the entire building: exhibition halls where you can get together in a group or be on your own, a vast auditorium for conferences and concerts, monumental staircases where you can settle down for a discussion, a restaurant for further exchanges. Enjoyment is at the heart of the encounters and the media offered to children. At the Cantonal Museum of Fine Arts, they are invited to draw, observe, imagine and discuss during their visit. The museum team is working to develop a publication for children, inspired by a selection of works from the collection.
