The Gurtenbahn runs daily up the Gurten, Bern's local mountain. The single-track funicular takes just under 5 minutes and can transport up to 120 people on one trip.

The Gurten is a popular excursion mountain in the city of Bern. Here you will find a large play park with a summer toboggan run, mini train and kids' cars. Popular activities on the Gurten include mountain biking (2 km downhill), disc golf, jogging, yoga and skiing for children.
