Rye bread from Erschmatt


Rye that is still grown on the terraces of Erschmatt, a mountain-top village above Leuk, continues to be ground into flour in the village mill and then used to make traditional Valaisan rye bread.
Those who are interested can sign up for a day in the bakery and help knead the dough and bake the bread. An experience for groups and families.
