Staglio - La pizza al taglio
Staglio is an artisanal "pizza al taglio" take-away store based in Lugano, Switzerland. The "pizza al taglio" (pizza by the slice or, more accurately, pizza by the cut) is a particular kind of pizza originating from Rome, baked in a rectangular tray, garnished with a potentially infinite variety of toppings, and cut in slices with scissors. We use only fresh, high quality ingredients: pomodori pelati San Marzano DOP, mozzarella di bufala campana DOP, seasonal fresh vegetables, artisanal cheeses, chemicals free cold cuts. Our product has a long dough maturation time (48h) and this, in addition to the high content in water (80%), makes the product extremely light and easy to digest. On our counter you'll always find something vegan or vegetarian, in addition to pizza with meat, fish or cheese.
