Description

In the Canton of Graubünden, flat moors cover about 3,000 hectares of land. And in these flat moorlands around 10% of Graubünden's flora and fauna can be found. Therefore, these must be protected to the largest extent possible.
In order to protect this sensitive fauna and flora, the community and spa resort administration set up an ecologically important project: The damaged trails at the Lej Nair and Lej dals Chöds (Hahnensee) Lakes were diverted. In addition, information panels were erected, which draw attention to the moorlands at risk. These panels also point out rules of conduct in these protected areas and inform the guest about the uniqueness and importance of these moorlands. From Lej dals Chöds one can hike on a fantastically beautiful trail to Champfèr or to St.Moritz-Bad.
