Description

The waterway is an educational and adventure trail dealing with various topics related to water.
Ninety stations display a variety of informational items about water, ranging from the frontal moraines of the Dammat glacier at the very rear of Göschener Valley to the wastewater treatment plant below the village. Water is revealed to be many different things - a force that shapes landscapes, a habitat for living creatures, a potentially threatening force of nature, an elixir that is necessary for life and an economic resource. The hiker can choose any location to learn more about the water: the glacier or the high moors, the dam or the ravine, Kar lakes or the hydroelectric plant, the spring source or the waste water treatment plant.
