The former Studiokino Royal is now home to an unconventional, charming and cultural stage. Included are concerts, theatre, readings, bar and dance evenings, and experimental audiovisual formats.

The Studiokino Royal is a non-commercially operated multimedia cultural stage, which found its temporary home in one of the oldest cinemas in Switzerland at the end of 2011, and which since then has been influencing the cultural life of Baden by catering to unconventional and alternative niches. A bar, stage and private movie screen enable a wide range of concerts, theatre, discussions, readings, bar and dance evenings, and innovative and experimental audiovisual mixed formats. The Royal provides culture, a meeting place, and the right space for social and societal exchange.
