Description

Learn how to make this famous cheese with a cheesemaker and discover their culinary secrets!
Once a week, the guests of Nendaz can visit the Balavaux alpine pastures to find out more about how raclette cheese is made and the life of a cheesemaker in summer. Visits to the cheese cellar and the cows in the cowshed are also possible. This is followed by breakfast in the Balavaux cabin and a chance to taste local cheeses.
Guided visits possible in July and August depending on the weekly activity schedule.
