Description

The team of the Gîte d’Allières mountain hut right next to the piste and snow-shoe hiking trail never fail to impress guests with their culinary expertise.
The mountain restaurant is particularly popular in the evening, especially at full moon, because the fondues it serves up seem to taste even better after a snow-shoe hike or ski tour with skins. The Nocturne de la Berra night race (ski tour race) takes place at the end of January each year.

In winter, there is a good chance of bumping into Olympic Silver medallist Mathilde Gremaud. The freestyle skier comes from this region and, if she isn’t off travelling, loves to sit on the terrace here and enjoy a fondue.
