Description

This wellness complex is both a place for coming together and a place of rest and relaxation. The complex is known in particular for its unique lakeside location as well as its architecture.
Termali Salini & Spa Locarno comprises a bathing and sauna landscape, a massage area and gastronomy services. All the baths are natural salt water baths. The bathing landscape is set up over two floors and promotes bathing as a ritual, including optional treatments that allow you to immerse yourself in another world and leave everyday life behind.
The spa is intended to be both a place for coming together and a place of rest and relaxation. The complex is known in particular for its unique lakeside location as well as its architecture, which is a modern, abstract take on Ticino’s famous river valleys, complete with caves, alcoves and waterfalls, while at the same time never losing sight of the inimitable panorama. The breathtaking views from the top floor, in the private spas or on the spacious terrace will give you an immense feeling of freedom. By contrast, the sauna area in the basement will make you feel as if you have been transported to an underwater world, where you can commune with your surroundings.
If you enjoy being active and would like to explore the area, you should get on your bike or e-bike, since the Termali Salini & Spa is situated on the Maggia Valley route, which leads from Locarno to Cavergno. This signposted cycling route, suitable for bikers of all abilities, leads from Locarno into the enchanting Maggia Valley, passing typical villages and unspoilt nature along the way. Passing through Losone and over the Maggia and Melezza rivers, you will then reach Tegna and Ponte Brolla. From Ponte Brolla, you can continue along the bicycle trail to Avegno.
