St. Moritz was birthplace of alpine winter sports (1864) and venue of two Olympic Winter Games. The Swiss paradise with golden tracks offers all kinds of spectacular cross-country pleasures: diverse unique landscapes, top of the range trails and your best bet for snow!
Those who prefer to take things easy select the Direttissima over three lakes, or glide over the longest trail of its sort in Zuoz, Engadine. The ambitious train on the legendary marathon stretch, Switzerland’s most famous 42 kilometers, conquer the picturesque side valleys or test their skills on the racing stretch in St. Moritz, where they can also extend activity until late at night on the night trail.

On the occasion of the biggest sport event, namely the Engadine Ski Marathon, Engadine couldn’t stand up to its title as cross-country Mecca any better! Now’s the time to watch around 13,000 cross-country fans take to their skis in an attempt to be the first to cover the 42 kilometer distance from Maloja via St. Moritz to S-chanf.
