Piz Corvatsch and Furtschellas

Description

Two cable cars over the blue lakes of the Upper Engadin – different heights, different experiences: On the Corvatsch you can enjoy high-alpine views of Piz Bernina’s Biancograt ridge, while Furtschellas offers a hiking paradise with six mountain lakes.
At 3,303 metres above sea level, the Corvatsch is the highest peak in the Engadin that can be reached by cable car. The panorama restaurant affords views of the nearby high mountain region. Halfway up, at the Murtèl middle station, take a short hike to the Fuorcla Surlej mountain inn and admire the Biancograt ridge reflected in the shimmering blue waters of the little lake. From here you can descend into the Val Roseg valley (Pontresina).

Attractions on the Furtschellas include the water trail, the Via Gastronomica, a detour to Val Fex, the panorama trail to the Corvatsch middle station and the petting zoo.
