The small, historical ski resort of Les Avants with its charming exterior is easily accessible in a few minutes from Montreux and boasts a 2.5km-long toboggan run.

From December to March – snow conditions permitting – toboggan enthusiasts take priority! During this period, 2.5km of the road from Orgevaux/Sonloup to Les Avants is closed to traffic and is put at the disposal of toboggan riders and residents (at specified times).

After arriving in Sonloup aboard the historic Belle Époque rack railway, you ride down to the Les Avants station on the toboggan run. Low ticket prices for the rack railway and the option to hire toboggans ensure everybody has the opportunity to enjoy an exciting day at altitudes between 980 and 1,200m above sea level.
