Blatten-Belalp – a holiday region full of delights and a mountain landscape that will take your breath away! Blogger family Mamicheck enjoyed a short break in the stunning region. It was love at first sight.
The family tells us about their experience:
“Blatten-Belalp is a dream destination for family holidays and a true natural paradise. We fell head over heels in love with the quaint, authentic village of Blatten – a truly special spot.
The region is perfect for holidays with children, with its short trails, glorious natural landscapes, a mild and sheltered climate, fantastic indoor and outdoor playgrounds, a suspension rope park (absolutely amazing: zip lines whizz along Tyrolean traverses up to 200 metres in length), a beautiful mountain lake, stylish cafes, impressive suspension bridges, good food and warm, kid-friendly hosts...
You can even go hiking with small children here, as there are many pushchair-friendly trails and special themed trails (tip: the Hexenweg (witch trail) is brilliant!). The short, easy hike to the Aletsch Glacier is a must.”
