Description

Four observation towers jut out from the dense woodland surrounding Randen mountain: standing at 26 meters, the Beringer is the second highest of the Randen towers. The view stretches from Klettgau to the Alps.
Before the tower, Beringen Randentum, (650 m. a.s.l.) which overlooks Beringen, was built in a steel framework construction in 1998, an 18-metre-high tower had been standing there since 1884. Now the new tower is 26 metres high and offers far views of Klettgau and the Alps. Food and drink are not far from the tower in the eponymous restaurant with a garden restaurant.
