Every winter massive ice walls with impressive icicles form at the "Corn da Diavolezza" and in the canyon of Pontresina. Dedicated mountain guides splash water on the rocks – producing the best possible ice thickness, and offering climbers more variety.

Good ice-climbing skills, and the necessary equipment are preconditions for climbing the ice walls.
