Les Diablerets

Les Diablerets, situated at an altitude of 1,200 m between Lake Geneva and Gstaad, is a Mecca for adventure sports. The Glacier 3000 ski area, in the heart of the Vaud Alps, offers all the pleasures of skiing.
In the Middle Ages, the rocky face of the massif that surrounds the small village in the Ormonts valley was considered a dangerous and cursed place where the devil raged. This is where the village got its name, Les Diablerets. Nowadays, no one has to fear this place anymore. However, it may take a little courage to try out the many adventure sports on offer in the surrounding area. In recent years, the resort has been made more attractive to families thanks to a wide-ranging program of events and new facilities specially adapted for children.
