This via ferrata promises thrills and unique views of the Saas mountain world. Its difficulty rating is in the region of K-3 (quite hard) and K-4 (hard), so some experience of climbing is an advatage.
Via Ferrata del Lago
This via ferrata goes from the Almagell valley to the Italian Antrona valley (a two-day trip). In good weather, you can see as far as Lake Maggiore.
You don’t always have to be up high to experience the via ferrata feeling. The mini via ferrata is just a few minutes away from the valley station of the mountain railway in Saas-Grund.
