People already used this bridle path through the Twingi Gorge in prehistoric times. It leads to a settlement in the heart of the inner Binntal and was a connection path to the Albrun Pass.

Since a tunnel now guarantees year-round access to the once self-sufficient village, the old route offers a spectacular scenic experience for cyclists and hikers. Peter Mangold, hiking guide, storyteller and most recently landlord at the end of the Twingi Gorge, is delighted to share the wild beauty and secrets of this gorge. To round off the day, Peter will personally serve up a delicious raclette and fine glass of wine.
