From its starting point in Lausanne, the cycle path climbs up into the peaceful hills of the Jorat and on into the Broye valley, carved out by glaciers. You’ll cross a number of rural areas in the Canton of Vaud, including the village of Henniez, which is famed for its mineral water. The stage then ends in Payerne in the Canton of Fribourg with its Romanesque abbey church.
