There’s also a chance to let off steam on futuristic snowmobiles in the SnowXpark.

Mount Titlis makes Engelberg one of the most popular winter sports resorts in Switzerland – reachable in just one hour with the Lucerne-Engelberg Express. Thanks to its location, the varied ski area at altitudes of up to 3200 metres has guaranteed snow in abundance. The Rotegg glacier run is challenging and the 12-kilometre descent into the valley feels endless. The Titlis offers plenty of opportunities for freeride fans away from the ski slopes. The toboggan run from Gerschnialp and the Engelberg valley trail for cross-country skiing fans also promise fantastic winter experiences.

Not far from Engelberg is Lake Lucerne with its fjord landscape, the Pilatus and Rigi mountain destinations and the city of Lucerne.
