The 10 kilometres of cross-country trails between Täsch and Randa are a popular choice for fans of the classic and skating styles. The well-groomed area of the Matterhorn cross-country ski trail offers various sections. The terrain at the bottom of the valley near Täsch is rather flat.

The trail in Täsch can be reached by train from Zermatt in 12 minutes. Changing facilities are available at the Matterhorn Terminal Täsch, while cross-country skiing equipment can be hired from the local sports shops.
