Description

Animal experiences: a hike across the snowy hills that overlook Lake Brienz in the company of creatures that seem almost cuddly.
"No drama, llama! Trekking with these empathetic animals is a wonderful experience, especially for children. Llamas are attentive, cautious and gentle – but still look pretty big up close. And what about the spitting? Oxi Flück, a llama farmer from the Lake Brienz area, knows the answers to these kinds of questions. Under his guidance, people and animals get to know one another, before participants help him to groom the llamas. Any initial fears are soon dispelled. Children and adults alike are sure to fall in love with the camelids. Once the animals are saddled and the baggage is secured in place, the party sets out at a comfortable trot through the snowy meadows and forests above Brienz. Guests can have their luggage carried by the llamas if they wish. View after view of Lake Brienz opens up as they go, while the Bernese Alps tower majestically in the background. The fresh winter air really gives you an appetite – not to mention all that stomping around! Time for an outdoor fondue feast, cooked over the fire. A romantic end to a wonderful llama trek.
