The region around Sörenberg is an unspoilt high moor with sparse pine forests. The route first climbs to Blattenegg, with fantastic views of the Schratteflue, then descends to Salwideli and further to the Emme river. A beautiful mule track takes you to the Lombachalp restaurant via stunning landscape. The second descent ends in Habkern.
