The High Rhine between Schaffhausen and Stein am Rhein offer one of the most delightful river cruises while the lower lake is rightly considered the jewel of Lake Constance.
Lake Constance is Europe’s third largest inland lake. The “white flotilla” links all the villages and sights on the shores of the lake.
On the Swiss side of Lake Constance on its southwestern shores, the quaint towns of Romanshorn, Arbon and Rorschach with their tranquil old towns are well worth a visit. The same is true for picturesque places like Gottlieben, Ermatingen and Stein am Rhein on the shores of the lower lake. At the other end of the lake, boats cruise from Rorschach to Rheineck along the romantic Old Rhine river route.
