Description

The ski pistes at the two car-free villages of Bettmeralp and Riederalp afford unobstructed views of the highest mountains in Switzerland. The Aletsch Arena also enjoys a sun-drenched setting. This area’s most striking downhill run takes you from the Bettmerhorn to the Riederalp.
The Aletsch Piste guarantees fun on the snow with direct views of Switzerland’s highest mountains – on the opposite side of the Rhone Valley you will see the magnificent four-thousand-metre-high Valais peaks against the deep blue sky. This intermediate run begins with magnificent views near the cable car top station at the Bettmerhorn. The red-marked trail on the sunny southern slope takes you westwards to the route followed by the Blausee chairlift. From there the run follows a blue-marked trail back to the Riederalp.
