Everyday Alpine life with cheese and Eringen cows

Description

Fighting is in the nature of the Eringen cows. Every spring, this is how they determine the hierarchy within the herd. The strongest cow will be the leader of the herd throughout the summer.
The walk from Nendaz to Alp Balavaud takes almost five hours, but at the end, the hikers enter an unspoiled alpine world and can watch how cheese is made out of the milk from the handsome Eringen cows. Of course, there is an opportunity to taste it too, with a sumptuous breakfast, for example. The cows are docile and can be safely approached and watched.
