Description

The journey by historic steam train along the Furka Steam Railway is unrivalled worldwide. The experience begins in Oberwald, 1,368 metres above sea level. The railway winds its way through wild gorges and along steep hillsides before climbing to more than 2,000 metres above sea level, making this Europe’s highest steam railway. The destination once on the other side is Realp railway station in the canton of Uri.
