Meilen’s lakeside promenade invites you to take a stroll and have some fun. Back in the 17th century both people and goods would be transported across the lake, a practice that continued up until the railways along the right side of Lake Zurich were put into operation in 1894. Enjoy the view of the lake, reaching from the Albis chain of hills all the way to the Glarus Alps.
