This wonderful campsite in Sisikon, in the canton of Uri, is located directly on Lake Lucerne, known locally as Lake Uri. No other campsite can be closer to the lake than this; boats sail right past. This elegant, clean, and well-maintained campsite features a well-equipped washroom right in the middle. Dogs are allowed on a leash, but windsurfing is prohibited. The train station is also right next to the campsite, so you can explore the surrounding Swiss countryside by train at any time. Excursions by train, boat, and bus are possible. It's an ideal base for exploring Switzerland: Tellsplatz, Rütlisch Wurststelle, Küssnacht, Zurich, and Lucerne – everything is easily accessible.
