Nestled in the Gonten high valley, halfway between Urnäsch and Appenzell, lies the Jakobsbad campsite. At an elevation of 920 meters, at the foot of Kronberg, it is just a 5-minute walk from the train station and the valley station of the Kornbergbahn cable car.
