Finn, 17 anni, lotta con la vita dopo la sua prigionia, mentre la quindicenne Gwen riceve nei suoi sogni chiamate dal sinistro telefono nero e ha visioni di tre ragazzi nel campo invernale di Alpine Lake. Determinata a risolvere il mistero, convince Finn ad accompagnarla. Una volta sul posto, scoprono un legame tra il «Greifer» e la famiglia di Gwen e devono affrontare un potente assassino.
