A museum, a historic cheese dairy, a cheese cellar and tastings of various regional specialities.
Tête de Moine AOP is a cheese that expresses the flavour of a region. It embodies traditional expertise dating back over 800 years: a totally unique pleasure! The museum is housed in a venerable historic building dating from 1768 – formerly an annexe of Bellelay Abbey. The interactive iPad exhibit shows how cream, butter and cheese are made from milk with traditional and modern utensils.
On some afternoons (usually Wednesdays) from June to September, you can watch cheese being made on a wood fire in the traditional, age-old manner.
