In the hamlet known as “Hameau de Colombire” on the edge of the popular Bisse du Tsittoret hiking trail, visitors can experience all the delights of mountain life and immerse themselves in the world of our ancestors.

The hamlet is split into two themed halves: one area including the Relais de Colombire (reception, restaurant and terrace) is devoted to Alpine farming, while the second area focuses on mountain hut settlements. The ecomuseum comprises a total of three huts, which were dismantled in the surrounding area and rebuilt here in Colombire according to old tradition. These two worlds of discovery are symbolically separated by a footpath for visitors.

Museum visitors must be accompanied by a guide (the tour lasts about 1 hour).
