An unforgettable experience for the whole family: all sorts of cute little animals can be fed by hand on the Eichhörnliweg.
"The Eichhörnliweg between Obersee and Maran leads through a magical winter forest. The fluffy squirrels are bold enough to eat straight from your hand. They quickly climb down from the trees and scurry lightly across the snow. Guests of all ages will delight in their curious nature. The touch of one of these little paws will capture anyone’s heart. Even though the clever rodents hid plenty of autumn supplies for the winter, they can’t resist the unshelled nuts offered by visitors. Signs along the way provide information about how the squirrels live. As well as the squirrels, there are many birds in the forest that can be observed and fed up close. Don't worry, they won’t bite! Sometimes even a large spotted nutcracker will come to take a closer look.
