Hiking around Lake Oeschinen
The area around Lake Oeschinen is a paradise for hikers. You will need sturdy shoes and sure-footedness for the Heuberg circular hike or the ascent to the Fründenhütte. It is advisable to check the weather conditions in advance, as individual trails may be closed due to snow or rock falls. Another hiking tip for cold weather: if the ice is sufficiently thickness and there is enough snow, an
ice walk is created across the frozen lake.

The most beautiful way to experience Lake Oeschinen is from a rowing boat. Berghaus Arva rents boats out from May to October. Row out onto the water and enjoy the peace and quiet and the magical atmosphere. In the summer months, the lake also offers super bathing conditions.

via ferrata in Switzerland. Experience the
