History
Boudevilliers is first mentioned in 1195 as Boudeviler.
Geography
Boudevilliers had an area, as of 2009, of 12.6 square kilometers (4.9 sq mi). Of this area, 7.71 km2 (2.98 sq mi) or 61.3% is used for agricultural purposes, while 4.05 km2 (1.56 sq mi) or 32.2% is forested.
