Dosso del Liro (Comasco: Dòss [ˈdɔs]) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Como in the Italian region Lombardy , located about 80 kilometres (50 mi) north of Milan and about 40 kilometres (25 mi) northeast of Como, on the border with Switzerland. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 297 and an area of 23.2 km².
