Eggerberg is a village and municipality in the district of Brig in the canton of Valais in Switzerland . Besides the village of Eggerberg, the municipality includes the settlements of Berg, Eggen, Finnen, Mühlackern and Wirmschland.

Eggerberg is first mentioned in 1307 as Eccun.

Eggerberg has an area, as of 2011, of 6 square kilometers (2.3 sq mi). Of this area, 15.2% is used for agricultural purposes, while 56.4% is forested. Of the rest of the land, 5.5% is settled (buildings or roads) and 22.9% is unproductive land.
